  • Angelo has worked with Agribusiness families, facilitating Strategic Planning and Succession Strategies and works with business families during succession processes / generational change; helps to resolve conflict and communication difficulties; and builds leadership and management capabilities.
  • Worked with many local property development, wholesale and retail trade enterprises professionalising and systemising procedures and processes to enhance profit and cashflow.
  • Created professional reports to facilitate bank lending and investment.
  • Facilitated discussions and introduced sound governance practices for family businesses where more than one family have to exist and work together, also facilitating exit strategies for existing joint business owners.
  • Provided wholistic business organisational analysis for companies and businesses undertaking change, whether for better business practices or for planning for expected periods of growth. Facilitating strategic analysis, and helping to create financial goals, and action plans to meet financial and organisational goals.
  • Designed and facilitated numerous management programs and executive coaching assignments to build individual and organisational capability.
  • Facilitation of personality profiling to enhance family business retreats, and family business charters, to help with business governance.
  • Provision of Business Taxation and Compliance services for several prominent Townsville Businesses.

Cost Guidelines

Each assignment is customised to the Client’s budget and timetable parameters. Accordingly, a report required urgently can be produced overnight for a premium cost, whereas the same report required within 5 business days, will cost less than half the above amount.

As a guide to costings on a daily basis, ongoing or long-term assignments are costed at a minimum of $1,000 per day, plus GST. Alternatively, short and medium term assignemnts, will be costed at approximately $1,500 to $2,000 per day plus GST. After an initial, no obligation meeting, clarifying the scope of work, timetable and budget, Angelo can provide an indicative estimate of costs.

Experience

Angelo Coco is an Adviser, Executive Coach and experienced Designer, Developer and Facilitator of business development initiatives for a broad range of Family, SME, Public and Private sector organisations.
Angelo began his career as an Accountant, where he soon noticed that compliance reporting and tax reporting were usually the least of a functioning business entity’s concerns. Angelo has since and has always undertaken training which helps companies in the broader sense, and making a much bigger impact for families in business by way of profit, better work practices and family cohesion.

With a high profile mentor in Townsville, (Phillip Leong, OAM), Angelo started his practice Coco & Stanton in the mid-90s, which was later merged with Crow Horwath, (WHK at that time) in Townsville. Wanting to specialise in Business Advisory work, Angelo trained with Family Business Australia, then with Family Firm Inc. (FFI in the USA), in providing advisory consulting to families in business. In 2009 Angelo went on to form Family Business Support, a consultancy specifically focused to provide family business advisory services. Angelo then provided Mentoring and Strategic and Succession Planning services to family businesses across Regional Queensland, and through FFI, co-facilitated, an international cohort, of qualified professionals, to attain accreditation in this field.
